Nutrition, Genomics

Nutritional genomics, or nutrigenomics, lies at the intersection of the human genome, nutrition, and health.

In this course, doctors Noelia Lozano-Vidal and Priscila Arbex, experts in genetics and clinical nutrition, summarize the most relevant concepts of nutrigenomics, showing the link between nutrition and our genes.

Genes involved in obesity, metabolism, detoxification, sensitivity or mineral and vitamin deficiency risk are some of the topics covered in the course, while also helping healthcare professionals understand how to combine NutriGen™ results with the clinical history of patients and blood analyses.
