Pharmaceutical compounding, Pharmaceutical technology

Hard capsules are the most common dosage form prepared in compounding pharmacies, and their formulation requires many time-consuming steps, including weighing, calculating weight/volumetric density of powders, mixing, capsule filling, and quality control of the final formulation. In this short course, Pharmacist Bruna Marianni focuses on the selection of capsule size and the exact definition of the amount of excipient required for the volumetric filling of the capsule, presenting FagronLab™ MedCaps as a handy tool to simplify this process.
