This course was developed for professionals who wish to deepen their knowledge in melasma management through personalized, science-based topical formulations with a practical focus. Over four modules, we cover everything from the clinical and pathophysiological foundations of the condition to the strategic definition of active ingredients and formulation vehicles, including a detailed understanding of melanogenesis, its therapeutic targets, and the main mechanisms involved. We also explore the rationale behind combining depigmenting active ingredients with different mechanisms of action and demonstrate how to structure individualized protocols that respect skin type, phototype, skin tolerance, and the clinical stage of melasma. With updated, evidence-based content focused on clinical practice, this course provides tools for a more effective, safe, and personalized approach to topical melasma treatment.
