Dr. Martina Mosing
Dr. Martina
"Ini" Mosing studied in Vienna and spent a decade contributing to the
establishment of the Department of Anaesthesiology and Perioperative Intensive
Care Medicine at Vetmeduni Vienna. She completed her residency in Veterinary
Anaesthesia and Analgesia through a joint programme at the University of Bern
and Vienna and is a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia
and Analgesia (ECVAA).
She
has held academic positions internationally, including Senior Lecturer at the
University of Liverpool, Oberarzt in Anaesthesia at the University of Zurich,
and lecturer and researcher in Perth, Western Australia. Since February 2023,
she has returned to Vetmeduni Vienna as Professor of Anaesthesia and Analgesia
and Head of the Anaesthesiology and Perioperative Intensive Care Medicine
group.
Her work focuses on
advancing veterinary education through new technologies and conducting research
on lung ventilation, gas exchange, and lung function monitoring using
Volumetric Capnography and Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT). She has
authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications.
