Dr. Edmundo Parada

Dr. Edmundo Parada is a licensed wildlife veterinarian from Mexico, specialising in wildlife and zoo animals, with a focus on New World primates. A graduate of Universidad de La Salle Bajío, he works as a freelance veterinarian supporting various conservation projects.  

With extensive experience across multiple primate species, particularly spider monkeys, Edmundo is an active member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums in Mexico and has contributed to national conservation initiatives, including the response to the recent heat crisis affecting howler monkeys. His work reflects a strong commitment to advancing animal health and wildlife conservation.
